Rev. Dr. Joseph Sellepack, current Board President of COAD, has served as the Executive Director of the Broome County Council of Churches since 2007. He and his wife Shelly have been married for 24 years and they have two children: Audrey (18) and Daniel (17).  They reside on the West Side of Binghamton, NY.  Professionally, Joe has served at churches in Orchard Park, NY and in Hudson, Iowa.  He has also served as resident director of the Open Door – a homeless shelter in Kalamazoo, MI.  He is a summa cum laude graduate of both Houghton College and Asbury Theological Seminary.  Dr. Joe earned his doctorate in transformative leadership from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School in 2006. In addition, he is a member of Rotary Club 64 (Binghamton Lunch), a 2009 graduate of the Broome Leadership Institute, a member of the program committee of the Binghamton University Forum, a former board member of Cornell Cooperative Extension and Fairview Recovery Services, Past-President of the Faith Leaders Network (formally National Association of Ecumenical and Interreligious Staff – NAEIS) and serves as Chair of Broome County’s Family Violence Prevention Council.
